Perry Senior Citizens Services Senior Golf Outing 2013
Perry Senior Citizens Services Senior Golf Outing 2013
August 5, 2013
Golfers aged 60 and older are invited to take part in the Perry Senior Citizens Services Senior Golf Outing on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Winding River Golf Course. What a fantastic way to enjoy a great day full of exercise, sport, and friends while lending a hand to the work of a stellar organization. In addition, sponsorship opportunities are available. As many as 144 seniors are expected to register to play so this is an awesome opportunity for sponsors to spend the day with a large group of older adults on the south side of Indianapolis, while showing support for the fantastic work that Perry Seniors provides our elders every single day. – Lisa Parrett

I recently took some time and recorded this overview video of the event with Jamie Riedeman, the Executive Director of Perry Senior Citizens Services and Sarah Crist of Freedom Senior Services.

This fun afternoon begins with a luncheon for over 140 seniors, an opportunity for you to market to each senior golfer as a hole sponsor, and a dinner to wrap up the evening with awards and prizes. Last year, we raised over $8,000 for the seniors of Perry Senior Services, and this year our goal is to raise $10,000. There are a few ways that you can help.

1. Beverage Cart Sponsors ($750)

2. Hole Sponsors ($250)

3. Foursome Sponsors ($150)

4. Door Prize Sponsors

5. Golfer Sponsors ($30)

6. 19th Hole “Wish You Were Here” Sponsorship in Memorial of Past Golfer ($25 for each Names to be displayed at putting green)

With a sponsorship, throughout the day, you will have an opportunity to speak to the golfers. We do offer a punch card to each of the golfers that will be punched by the hole sponsors to encourage participation and will allow you to market your company.

I would love to speak with you more about these opportunities to help your community and older adults. Perry Senior Services offers a free lunch five days a week to seniors, informational resources and consulting on senior issues, as well as socialization to avoid isolation and aid in wellness. I hope that you will consider supporting this great cause.

Last year their volunteers took seniors to 1,018 medical appointments, delivered 15,669 meals to the homebound and served 2,045 $2 lunches to seniors. They also gather information about services for seniors and share it with families in need. Please help them continue to serve. – Lisa Parrett
