Just as impressive are a slew of statistics released by MIBOR (Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors) that show in real numbers the growth of real estate transactions.
The year 2012 began with a huge spurt as Pending Sales for the quarter were up 16% and both Closed and Pending Sales showed double-digit growth in February. To further brighten the scene, home sale prices showed 1.2% growth in February alone, while the three month quarter (which ended in February) increased 2.2%.
So what does this mean for Indianapolis area homeowners, buyers and sellers? It means that the return of a quality Indy real estate market is well underway.

Buyers are discovering that no longer can they wait to make an offer on a home that appeals to them. Time after time, those that are slow to act find the home swept away from them.
And sellers can once again offer their homes for sale, confident in the knowledge that prices are on the rise and buyers are ready to act.
