I regularly tour Indianapolis and Central Indiana senior retirement communities and get to know the staff and residents. As an Indianapolis Realtor, Certified Senior Housing Professional, and Seniors Real Estate Specialist, it’s part of a regular effort to offer my clients some insight into the best available options when it comes time for an older senior to transition to sell a home and transition to a new phase of life.
Zionsville Senior Living Community
I recently spent some time with the good folks at the Hearth at Tudor Gardens in Zionsville and now offer a few basic thoughts:
One of the unique things about the Hearth at Tudor Gardens is that a senior can remain in the same apartment, even as their level of necessary care changes. This is a very big deal!
Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care
In most other communities in the area, as a resident’s level of care progresses, they MUST move to different areas of the community, which means moving apartments. Obviously, this can be a huge point of stress for the resident because they are forced to move from their established space. Their neighbors change, and in some cases, their residence floor may also change completely.
The fact that this hassle is not something residents have to worry about at the Hearth at Tudor Gardens is something much appreciated by both current and potential residents and their caregiver families.
Further, the ladies on staff at The Hearth at Tudor Gardens are fantastic problem solvers. They have the ability to make things work for just about everyone. It’s an established community, so they have built plenty of trust over the years and are most certainly not a fly-by-night company: they know the senior retirement community industry and what works best.
