by Lisa TreadwellAs an Indianapolis real estate agent specializing in working with adults 55+ and older seniors, a very important part of my job is to know the ideal Indianapolis retirement community to refer my clients to based on each client’s specific needs.
The 5 Steps to Downsizing Made Easy
After all, I do more than just help older adults sell their house; I help them plan and implement a late-in-life move or transition. As such, I regularly tour Indianapolis independent living, assisted living, and memory care retirement communities.

I recently visited Traditions at Solana and chatted with Colin and Jennifer, two people who have put their hearts and souls into making this building a fantastic place to call home for their residents!
Here are a few things I noted that really make them stand out as it concerns senior living options in Indianapolis:
* Feels like home…especially on these cold, fall Indiana mornings. They have the fire going and you just can’t help but kick back and relax in their main lounge area.
*Their dining room is AMAZING! Its like a fancy restaurant! They aren’t skimping one bit when it comes to service and selection here. Again, a very homey feeling.
*As Colin mentions in the video I recorded and posted below, every apartment and every cottage is waterfront! This is hard to find in Indianapolis, and once again, gives this community a warm and welcome feel. I even asked Colin if I could move my family into one of the 2 bedroom cottages! 🙂
Like Colin mentions in the video above, stop by Traditions at Solana, take a tour, and register to win a Holiday Gift Basket (drawing is November 30.)
This Indianapolis independent living, assisted living, and memory care retirement community is located in a park-like setting with walking paths that provide unparalleled water and wildlife views of the White River. Everything you need can be found under one roof in an exclusive retirement community that includes countless amenities, including a theater, fine and casual dining and multiple recreation opportunities.
