Our second annual ‘Senior University” is coming up Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 7-9 pm at Joy’s House in Indianapolis’ Broad Ripple neighborhood and, of course, it’s absolutely FREE.It’s a unique approach where attendees choose the TWO topics (out of seven topics) they’d most like to learn about and then sit in on the free classes in one, easy location.

Each sessions lasts one hour and then you simply mosey over to the next class you’d like to attend. We’ll have seven different Central Indiana experts on hand, each teaching on a different subject.

I will be instructing and leading the discussion in the session “Downsizing Made Easy: Feeling Overjoyed Instead of Overwhelmed.”

As you see, these subjects cover a number of different areas relating to issues that adults 55+, older seniors, and their caregivers or adult children may be facing now or will in the future.

Plan to join us. As the graphic above says, learn more about: Health Care Options with the Affordable Care Act, Helping Seniors Understand Medicare, Long Term Care Options, Downsizing Made Easy and helping elderly parents move, Options for Veteran’s Benefits and Medicaid Eligibility, How to Talk with Elders About Right-Sizing a New Home, and Retirement Finances and Reverse Mortgages in Indiana.
If you’re an adult 55+ or know someone who could benefit from learning more about any of these topics, pass this blog post or flyer along and let ’em know! Here’s more information on the good folks who’ll be presenting these sessions during Seniors University.
