I recently sat down for a video interview with Bill Baugh, the founder and owner of Traditions Senior Care, an Indianapolis agency that delivers in-home senior care to Indy elders and also provides training and assistance for caregiver families.
Traditions Senior Care stands out across Central Indiana: the agency is the only Indianapolis service that is owned and managed by a Masters-level social worker. Bill also teaches social work classes at Indiana University, a place where he has helped educate burgeoning social workers for 10 years now.
The theme of being in the “people-helping business” permeates Traditions Senior Care and Bill employs workers and staff with a solid educational background. In fact, you’ll see staff from IU’s social work graduate program in upcoming videos as I explain more about what kind of effort Traditions Senior Care exerts in helping Indianapolis seniors and their caregiver families.
“I founded this agency because I believed strongly that there was a need to deliver in-home senior care by focusing on three things — the needs of the senior client, the family caregivers that love them so much, and the agency staff that works to support them. All three of these are key parts of delivering the best and complete care,” says Bill.
