Bickford of Greenwood is a new memory care and assisted living community now under construction in Greenwood, Indiana and preparing to open in October of this year (2013).It’s my job as an Indianapolis real estate agent and Certified Senior Housing Professional to make sure that I’m well-versed in the many senior housing options available in Central Indiana. It’s vital that I’m up-to-date on the best communities to recommend to my senior clients and their caregiver families.
I recently had an opportunity to stop by the construction site of what will soon be a fabulous new home for Indiana elders. I spoke with their Community Relations Director, Stacey Gallardo, and she explains a bit more about Bickford of Greenwood in the short video below.
If you’re reading this previous to June 13, 2013, they are having a Cupola Raising Ceremony from 11:30-1 pm on that date. This is a unique tradition with Bickford where they add their emblem to the peak of the roof on the entry way. RSVP at 317-695-9634.
An amenity that I am especially fond of is the Private Dining Room, a feature that allows an elder to invite family and friends to dine in the Private Dining Room, offering a more private area to celebrate holidays, birthdays and other special occasions in an intimate setting. You may provide your own food or, for convenience, Bickford of Greenwood will provide catering of the dinner.
While the community does not open until October of 2013, you may schedule a “hard hat tour” and even reserve your apartment early, a very nice way to save some money!
